PHOTOS: Party Celebrates Jean Shafiroff's Magazine Cover
Part-time Southampton resident who supports local charitable causes fêted at magazine cover party.
Southampton philanthropist and socialite Jean Shafiroff is the subject of Resident magazine's latest cover story and to mark the occasion a private party was held in Manhattan recently with guests including New York City mayoral candidate John Catsimatidis, news anchor Ernie Anastos, journalist Kitty Pilgrim, CNN correspondent Felicia Taylor, Resident editor-in-chief Christopher A. Pape.
Shafiroff's husband, Martin, and daughter Elizabeth also joined in the celebration, plus guests Christine Quinn Erik Bottcher, Geoffrey Bradfield, George Giannopoulis, Caroline Biden, Ann Rapp, Flo Anthony, Yaz Hernandez, Zang Toi, Maggie Norris, Victor De Souza, and B. Michael.
Shafiroff is the honorary chair of the Southampton Animal Shelter's fourth annual Unconditional Love Gala coming up July 20 and the chair of the Southampton Hospital Summer Party on Aug. 3.
In April, Shafiroff was among the honorees at the Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services spring benefit.
