A 38-year-old Southampton man is charged with a felony after threatening his roommate with a kitchen knife, according to Southampton Town police.
Police said they were called Wednesday at 8:04 p.m. to a Hills Station Road residence, where Victor Cruz had a dispute with his roommate.
Cruz was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony, and second-degree menacing, a misdemeanor.
He was taken to police headquarters in Hampton Bays for processing and held for morning arraignment at Southampton Town Justice Court.
