The Water Mill Square Gallery presents a group show featuring artworks by finalists of the international art competition The Art Sprinter, an art contest designed to help artists from all over the world to get exposure and receive cash rewards to support their talent.
During the opening reception three best artists of the show will be awarded with cash prizes. All finalists will also be awarded with an interview for the Art Sprinter Blog.
Among summer 2013 season finalists of the Art Sprinter contest are: Hilary Schmidt (Brooklyn, NY), Suzanne Scott (New York, NY), Natan Pernick (Jerusalem, Israel), Karen KK Clardy (Greenville, SC), Ian Healy (New York, NY), Elyse Hradecky (Brooklyn, NY), Joseph Cavalieri (New York, NY), Mark Paulda (El Paso, TX), Peter Walker (Los Angeles, CA), Chris Riggs For Mayor (Miami, FL), Cara De Angelis (New York, NY) and Sarah Hahn (Columbus, OH).
Nicollette Ramirez will curate the exhibition; she is also one of judges for the Art Sprinter competition. Amongst other jurors are Bart Keijsers Koning (co-owner of the LMAKprojects gallery) and Katerina I. Duarte (principal attorney and founder of the Law Office of Katerina I. Duarte).
