Next Stop, Seaside Board!
The
Bridgehampton Museum is hosting the second of two summer 2013 exhibit openings
on Friday, June 28th at 5pm with complementary refreshments and wine by Wolffer
Estate. “Next Stop, Seaside Board” reenacts the boarding house era from the Inn
Keeper’s perspective within their own Corwith house museum. Observe the owner’s
preparations for Independence Day, or see a local villager weaving a basket for
beach picnickers. There is much entertaining history to share about this
important time of change, once the railroad arrived in greater Bridgehampton.
