From Pastures to Putting: Bridgehampton's Golfing Tradition

The Bridgehampton Museum is hosting the first of two summer 2013 exhibit openings on Friday May 31st at 5pm at their Archives location. “From Pastures to Putting” highlights the development of golf in greater Bridgehampton and the history of its associated clubs. It will show original equipment and fashions, pictorially and in person, and document the local origins of a sport of which many people just can’t get enough. Join curator Julie Greene for one of her popular curator’s talks, or come to our “19th Hole” and hear a veteran caddy share some of their best club stories. The Archives Building is open Monday through Saturday, 10am to 2pm, or visit bhmuseum.org for more information.
