East End or Busk: SisterMonk

East End or Busk returns to the covered terrace with SisterMonk, whose original songs are female-powered, djembe-driven, and culturally diverse. Soulful vocals, danceable grooves, and poetic lyrics have gained the band a solid fan base from east to west coast. They have been compared to Ani DiFranco, Rusted Root, Natalie Merchant, Mumford & Sons, and Dead Can Dance. So grab a seat on the terrace or bring a chair or blanket and enjoy the sounds of summer from the events lawn. East End or Busk is free with Museum admission ($10, free for members, students, and children).
