East End or Busk returns to the covered terrace with SisterMonk, whose original songs are female-powered, djembe-driven, and culturally diverse. Soulful vocals, danceable grooves, and poetic lyrics have gained the band a solid fan base from east to west coast. They have been compared to Ani DiFranco, Rusted Root, Natalie Merchant, Mumford & Sons, and Dead Can Dance.
