88.3 WPPB 4th of July PARTY!

You're invited to a free, fun, fabulous party at the WPPB 88.3 station located at 71 Hill Street!


Join the musicians, DJs and radio family at WPPB’s 4th of July party!
Walk right up to the station immediately following the Southampton 4th
of July Parade and enjoy free live entertainment, sample favorite local
restaurants, games and activities for children and more! Follow Escola
de Samba Boom up the block, across the street from the Southampton Inn,
to the WPPB lot and enjoy the 2nd annual WPPB Family Picnic.


The main stage will feature Inda Eaton and her band, Joe Delia and PJ
Delia and the Thieves & Thievettes, Morgan Duke Vaughan and pianist
extraordinaire Paul Gene, KeyboardCharles Notturno Music, the Our
Fabulous Variety Show Players and a sneak peek at the Southampton
Presbyterian Church’s production of Godspell!

Enjoy delicious
local fair from Foody’s delicious applewood grilled pizzas and Joe &
Liza’s ice cream and fresh brewed coffee from The Hampton Coffee Co.


We will also have tons of free games and entertainment for children as
well! The Tumblebus, a modified old school bus that has been turned into
a fantastic mini-gym and playroom will be on the lot. Constant Wonder
will be performing their act full of whimsy and wonder, and there will
also be face painting for all ages!

The grown-ups can have some
mischievous fun of their own with our Dunk Tank sponsored by
Dunkerley’s of Southampton! Dunk well-known members of the community and
support local radio at the same time. The Dunk List includes:
Southampton Village Mayor Mark Epley, Dawn Watson ThePress of the
Southampton Press, WPPB’s own Ed German of The Urban Jazz Experience
& Friday Night Soul with Ed German, art dealer Karyn Mannix, Anita
Sorel, and many more!
