Missoni Home brings Italian home fashion to the Hamptons.

Missoni, an Italian fashion brand, has opened its first home furnishing shop in the U.S. — and Southampton Village's Jobs Lane was chosen as the best spot for this new venture.

The showroom, including a backyard with outdoor furniture, is open to both tradespeople and retail customers. Co-owner Roxane Mosleh said during a press event Thursday that when she stumbled upon the Missoni Home booth at an exhausting tradeshow, she was brought back to life and smiling again.

Missoni couches, pillows, throws, towels and more are in bright colors and vibrant patterns — and the shop sells textiles too so interior designers and creative homeowners can incorporate the distinctive style in limitless ways.

It was her partner, Bobby Ginsberg, the owner of Southampton Riding Club, who said the brand needed to be brought to the Hamptons, Mosleh said. Now they co-own Missoni home together.

"The Hamptons, as everyone knows, are alway evolving, and these are really those finishing touches of all the projects that are happening here," said Christopher Philips, Missoni Home's vice president of sales for the Americas. "We feel like our client set is here and we feel like people understand what we're doing and can appreciate it."

Philips said the Hamptons store shows the Missoni lifestyle and the breadth of the collection.

Carlo Torani, the nephew of co-founders Ottavio and Rosita Missoni, flew in from Milan for the store's debut. More members of the family had been expected to attend, but plans changed when Ottavio Missoni passed away a week earlier.

Torani said they trust they found the right partners to bring their message to the Hamptons. "We always find that life is more beautiful in color, so we try to bring our concept here."

Missoni Home is located at 50 Jobs Lane.
