Just a Taste of Channing Daughters Winery

Here's the menu for the summer tastings at Channing Daughters Winery.

Channing Daughters Winery in Bridgehampton has a full tasting menu ready for the summer.

Flights, made up of six wines, are available for $10.

This summer's selection includes:

  • 2011 Ramator: a copper colored old-style Pino Grigio, with the "aromas and flavors of peach skin, honey, dried apricots, pear skin, tropical citrus, baked apples, birch and coriander."
  • 2010 Rosso Fresco: a red blend that pairs well with food featuring the  "aromas and flavors of blackberry, black raspberry, black cherry, black plum, black current and earth."
  • 2009 Sculpture Garden: a red blend of Merlot, Teroldogo and Blaufrankisch, aged 18 months in an oak barrel and sporting a smooth, silky texture.
  • 2011 Tocai Friulano: a white varietal from the Fruili-Venezia Giulia region in Northeast Italy grown on site, with  "aromas and flavors of peaches, marzipan, minerals, lemon custard, fresh almods, white flowers, spice and a salty tang."
  • 2010 Mosaico: a blend of Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Muscat Ottonel, Tocai Friulano and Gewurztraminer with a "long, clean and delicious" finish.
  • 2012 Rosato Di Cabernet Sauvignon: a dry rose made from 100% cabernet Sauvignon with  "aromas and flavors of red currants, earth, herbs and flowers."
