French Boutique Saint Barth Caravan Opens on Jobs Lane

Southampton Village shop is Saint Barth Caravan's first in the U.S.

French designer clothing store Saint Barth Caravan has opened its first U.S. store on Jobs Lane in Southampton Village.

The boutique's first and only other location opened about 10 years ago on the Caribbean island St. Barths.

Co-owner Florian Haubert opened the doors to the new Hamptons store at 38A Jobs Lane for the first time on Thursday, when the inventory arrived from France. The store carries men's and women's clothing by designers such as Joe San, Christopher Sayvet and Robinson Les Bains.

Haubert, who is originally from Normandy, said he first moved to St. Barths in 1991, when he worked as an assistant to Calypso St. Barths founder Christian Celle. Calypso St. Barths now has several Hamptons locations, including a Jobs Lane store not far from the new Saint Barth Caravan.

Haubert's business partner, Martial Denis, also has experience at esteemed fashion retailers. Denis worked 12 years for Colette in Paris.

Saint Barth Caravan will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week during the summer. Haubert said the store has a two-year lease and expects to stay open year round, except for maybe a one- or two-month break in the winter.
