Flying Point Women's, Children's Stores Move to New Digs

Surf Boutique and Groms move into site that once housed the Southampton Hospital Thrift Shop.

Flying Point Surf Boutique and Flying Point Groms — surf shops for women and children, respectively — have moved a few doors down from their original Southampton Village locations and are now open at 79 Main Street.

The sign reads simply, Flying Point Surf & Sport.

Their new home was formerly the Southampton Hospital Thrift Shop. Mark Zucchero, who owns several Flying Point shops throughout the Hamptons, bought the 2-and-a-half story building in March for $3.95 million with the intent of moving his village businesses there.

Flying Point Surf & Skate and Flying Point Sunglass Bungalow will remain at 69 Main Street for the summer, at least, then may join Surf Boutique and Groms at 79 Main Street.

Taking over the former Surf Boutique and Groms spaces at 63 Main Street are Egg by Susan Lazar, a children's clothing store, and Xanadu, a women's boutique that is a new venture for Sharon Kerr, the owner of Norahs clothing store on Jobs Lane.
