Linda Kabot, Neighbor

Linda Kabot is the Republican-Conservative-Libertarian candidate for Suffolk County Legislator LD#2 in the upcoming November 5 General Election. She has nearly 14 years of experience at the executive and legislative level of local government.  Prior to being elected Town Supervisor in 2007 for a two-year term, Kabot served for 6 years as a Town Councilwoman and 6 years as the Executive Assistant to the prior Town Supervisor.   She is a lifelong town resident who graduated with honors from Westhampton Beach Schools and Hobart and William Smith Colleges.  Currently living in Quogue, Kabot is married with three grown children. For the 2019 General Election, Kabot is offering her knowledge, experience, courage, and strength of character to the voters throughout the South Fork, from Moriches to Montauk. Her platform dovetails with that of the Republican Candidate for County Executive seeking to restore fiscal sanity to county government, initiate greater efforts to bolster the local economy, and providing a more effective voice for taxpayers. With a solid background in Town government administration, public policy formation, municipal finance, and constituent services, Kabot has a substantial working knowledge about land use law, zoning and budgetary matters. She is conversant on the issues important to community members throughout the South Fork. Throughout her public service, Kabot was highly regarded as a dedicated Town Official who demonstrates a tireless commitment to the betterment of the community and being responsive to the needs of Town residents and taxpayers. For 2019, Kabot is asking voters for their support for her candidacy to bring common sense and principled, values-based leadership to the South Fork's County Legislative seat.
