Whalers Cleaners & Tailors is a dry cleaning service, using state-of-the-art machinery on premises. The businessMore was established in 1962, and it has been owned by the Salsedo family since 1994. Whalers will handle standard dress clothes, and less standard tasks such as wedding gowns and UGG boots. Household items such as sheets, pillows/cases, duvet covers and blankets are also accepted.

Delivery service is available, including to Shelter Island. A European tailor, who made suits at Lord & Taylor for more than 30 years, provides tailoring service. 

Old Whalers Church of Sag Harbor

The First Presbyterian Church of Sag Harbor, better known as The Old Whalers Church, was designated a National HistoricMore Landmark in 1994. The congregation was founded in 1766 and the current church was built in 1843 and dedicated in 1844. The steeple was knocked down during the Great Hurricane of 1938 and has yet to be replaced. Sunday school takes place at 9am followed by services at 10am. There is also a half-hour Wednesday service at 7 p.m. The Sag Harbor Community Food Pantry is also located here and "The Old Burying Ground," which dates back to its first interment at 1767, is next door.  The current pastor is the Reverend Mark Phillips.
