The Southampton Chamber of Commerce is the largest chamber on the East End, serving Southampton Town but includingMore members from Manhattan to Montauk. The board of directors meets on the third Thursday of the month and the membership meets quarterly. The chamber puts on networking nights, sponsored by local businesses and agencies, from 5pm to 7pm on the last Thursday of the month. The networking nights are always in a different location and have been held at restaurants, Coopers Beach , route: {:controller=>"listings", :action=>"show", :id=>"coopers-beach"} -->and the <!-- name: Southampton Historical Museum. The chamber also puts on a farmers market in Southampton Village during the summer and hosts Christmas events during the holiday shopping season. The chamber is a member of the Hamptons Visitors Council.

It is the home of the 11968 and 11969 zip codes, the latter being the code assigned to the post office's P.O. boxes. Collections occur at 7:30 am, 11 am, 1 pm, and 5pm Monday through Friday and 11 am and 4 pm on Saturday and Sunday. There is no collection on Sundays and holidays.
