Southampton Town Hall

Southampton Town Hall is home to the supervisor's office, the town council, town trustees, town clerk, tax receiver, taxMore assessor, town attorney and comptroller. The general services, land management and long-range planning offices are also located here, as well as the board room, where meetings of the town board, planning board, zoning board of appeals and other town government bodies are held. The building was formerly Southampton Elementary School, now located next door to town hall. Southampton Town Hall is the destination for a variety of permits, including building permits, dog licenses, shellfishing and peddling permits, handicap parking permits, marriage licenses, special events permits and taxi licenses.
Southampton Elementary School

Southampton Elementary School had a major renovation in 2009 that also included an extension, which gave the school moreMore classrooms and its first elevator. The extra space also allowed the prekindergarten to move from rented space at the First Presbyterian Church of Southampton to the elementary school building. The building was originally Southampton High School, and the old elementary school is now Southampton Town Hall next door. The elementary school has a dual language program in which children, starting in kindergarten, learn all of their subjects in both English and Spanish, on alternate days. By the time they reach middle school, students are nearly fluent in both languages.
Old Town Beach

Old Town Beach is a Southampton Village beach at the south end of Old Town Road. It is an unprotected beach. AMore village beach sticker is required to park between the Friday before Memorial Day until the middle of September. Surfcasting, launching power boats and surfing outside of designated areas are prohibited during this period between 9 a.m and 6 p.m.</p> <p>Parking stickers are available at village hall and Coopers Beach, free for village residents and at a cost for residents of the Southampton School District and Southampton Fire District, and at a greater cost for summer visitors.<br /><br />Camping, alcohol bonfires, erecting tents, playing hardball, littering, unleashed animals and nudity are prohibited at all times.<br /><br />There is drive-on access, but both a Southampton Village and  a Southampton Town Trustees 4x4 beach driving permit are required. There's an air filling station for cars to refill their tires.</p> <p><br />The beach is closed when the stormwater drainpipe is open. Swimming, surfing and fishing are prohibited when the pipe is flowing.</p>

Gin Beach

Gin Beach is a Southampton Village beach next to the Southampton Bathing Corporation. It is an unprotected beach. AMore village beach sticker is required to park between the Friday before Memorial Day until the middle of September. Surfcasting, launching power boats and surfing outside of designated areas are prohibited during this period between 9 a.m and 6 p.m. Parking stickers are available at Village Hall and Coopers Beach, free for village residents, at a cost for residents of the Southampton School District and Southampton Fire District and at a greater cost for summer visitors.<br /><br />Camping, alcohol, bonfires, erecting tents, playing hardball, littering, unleashed animals and nudity are prohibited at all times.<br /><br />There is drive-on access, but both a Southampton Village and a Southampton Town Trustees 4x4 beach driving permit are required.</p> <p>The beach is closed when the Agawam Lake drain pipe is open. No swimming, surfing or fishing is permitted at these times.</p>

Road G Beach

Road G is on Meadow Lane across from the Southampton Village Helipad.

Road G is an unprotected SouthamptonMore Village beach. A village beach sticker is required to park between 9am and 6pm from the Friday before Memorial Day until the middle of September. Surfcasting, launching power boats and surfing outside of designated areas are prohibited during these times. Parking stickers are available at village hall and Coopers Beach. Stickers are free for residents, but offered at a cost for residents of the Southampton School District, Southampton Fire District and summer visitors.</p> <p>Camping, alcohol bonfires, erecting tents, playing hardball, littering, unleashed animals and nudity are prohibited at all times.<br /><br />There is drive-on access, but both a Southampton Village and a Southampton Town Trustees four-by-four beach driving permit are required. North Haven Village
335 Ferry Rd, Sag Harbor, NY 11963

North Haven is a 2.7-square-mile island settled in 1665, north of Sag Harbor. Driving through North Haven is the onlyMore way to reach the South Ferry to Shelter Island. The village is served by the Southampton Town Police, Southampton Town Highway Department and Sag Harbor Fire Department. The current mayor is Laura Nolan.</p> <p>The village board meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 5 p.m. at village hall. The zoning board of appeals, planning board and Board of Architectural Review & Historic Preservation also meet at village hall. The village has a small planning department and a part-time building inspector. North Haven Village Park is located behind the hall.</p>

Halsey Neck Beach

Sagaponack Village Hall
3175 Montauk Hwy, Sagaponack, NY 11962
Southern Sagaponack incorporated as a village in 2005 and in April 2009 moved into its village hall, a converted barnMore that had been used as a residence since the 1960s. The village hall houses the clerk/treasurer's office and the building department. The board of trustees, which also serves as the planning board, meets at village hall, as do the zoning board and the architectural and historic review board. The village does not have a highway department, but problems with roads in Sagaponack may be reported to village hall, which will alert the Southampton Town Highway Department. Donald Loucheim is the current mayor.
