Surfcasting, launching power boats and surfing outside of designated areas are prohibited during these times. Parking stickers are available at village hall and Coopers Beach. Stickers are free for residents, but offered at a cost for residents of the Southampton School District, Southampton Fire District and summer visitors.
Camping, alcohol bonfires, erecting tents, playing hardball, littering, unleashed animals and nudity are prohibited at all times.
There is drive-on access, but both a Southampton Village and a Southampton Town Trustees four-by-four beach driving permit are required. There's an air filling station for cars to refill their tires.
