Wyandanch Beach is a Southampton Village beach at the south end of Wyandanch Lane, off Gin Lane. It is an unprotectedMore beach. A village beach sticker is required to park between the Friday before Memorial Day until the middle of September. Surfcasting, launching power boats and surfing outside of designated areas are prohibited during this period between 9 a.m and 6 p.m. Parking stickers are available at village hall and Coopers Beach, free for village residents and at a cost for residents of the Southampton School District and Southampton Fire District, and at a greater cost for summer visitors.

Camping, alcohol bonfires, erecting tents, playing hardball, littering, unleashed animals and nudity are prohibited at all times.
Old Town Beach

Old Town Beach is a Southampton Village beach at the south end of Old Town Road. It is an unprotected beach. AMore village beach sticker is required to park between the Friday before Memorial Day until the middle of September. Surfcasting, launching power boats and surfing outside of designated areas are prohibited during this period between 9 a.m and 6 p.m.

Parking stickers are available at village hall and Coopers Beach, free for village residents and at a cost for residents of the Southampton School District and Southampton Fire District, and at a greater cost for summer visitors.

Camping, alcohol bonfires, erecting tents, playing hardball, littering, unleashed animals and nudity are prohibited at all times.

There is drive-on access, but both a Southampton Village and  a Southampton Town Trustees 4x4 beach driving permit are required. There's an air filling station for cars to refill their tires.


The beach is closed when the stormwater drainpipe is open. Swimming, surfing and fishing are prohibited when the pipe is flowing.

Little Plains Beach

Halsey Neck Beach
Halsey Neck Ln & Meadow Ln, Southampton, NY 11968
Located at the south end of Halsey Neck Lane, Halsey Neck is an unprotected Southampton Village beach. A village beachMore sticker is required to park between 9am and 6pm between the Friday before Memorial Day until the middle of September. Surfcasting, launching power boats and surfing outside of designated areas are prohibited during these times. Parking stickers are available at village hall and Coopers Beach, free for village residents and at a cost for residents of the Southampton School District and Southampton Fire District, and at a greater cost for summer visitors.

Flying Point Beach

Flying Point is a Southampton Town beach at the south end of Flying Point Road in Water Mill.

Parking permitsMore are required at town beaches between May 15 and June 25 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. only if a beach attendant is on duty. Permits are required at all times between July 1 and Labor Day from 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. regardless of whether an attendant is on duty.

Unless otherwise posted, lifeguards are on duty from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Beaches close at 9 p.m.

Residents can obtain a beach barbecue permit for after 6 p.m. from the Parks & Recreation Office.

There are no daily passes at Flying Point. Resident, senior citizen and non-resident seasonal permits are accepted.

Pets are prohibited between April 1 and October 1. Pets are allowed at other times but must be under immediate control of owner at all times and all animal waste must be disposed of it proper containers. Violators will be subject to a fine up to $250.

Camping, alcohol, bonfires, glass containers, household garbage, erecting tents, construction debris, handbills and solicitations, unsupervised children, amplified music, unauthorized concession trucks or caterers graffiti and littering are prohibited at all times.

There is drive-on access, but both a Southampton Town Trustees 4x4 beach driving permit is required. The speed limit if 10 miles per hour and ATVs are prohibited. All vehicle are prohibited from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. between the Friday preceding Memorial Day through September 15.

Sagg Main Beach

Sagg Main is a lifeguard-protected Southampton Town beach at the south end of Sagg Main Street in Sagaponack. DailyMore passes are availible at Sagg Main on weekdays only. The hospital's summer party has been a Southampton tradition since 1958, attracting community leaders, celebrities and other supporters of the Southampton Hospital's mission to provide high quality heath care services to the community. The hospital is certified by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations, a New York State designated stroke center, American College of Radiology accredited in breast imaging, MRI, CT, Ultrasound and nuclear medicine, and the majority of physicians are board-certified in their specialty. The hospital also trains doctors in its Osteopathic Medical Education Program.
