The North Sea firehouse is on Noyac Road, across the street from the North Sea Community Association. The fireMore department's Firemen's Memorial Field is next to the communication association building and includes an athletic field and playground. Prior to the North Sea Fire Department's founding in 1934, the hamlet of North Sea received fire protection as a courtesy of the Southampton Fire Department.

The North Sea Fire Department's atheletic field is located behind the North Sea Community Association, which isMore across the street from the firehouse. The field includes a baseball diamond and space for other sports as well.

The field hosts a Fourth of July Carnival and it used for firefighter training.

Those wishing to use the field must attain permission from the fire department chief or grounds chairman. Dogs must be leashed. Steel spikes are prohibited on the field and any abuse of the field or innapropriate behavior will end all priveledges. Users of the field must clean up before they leave. A dumpster is provided.

Sag Harbor Fire Department

The Sag Harbor Fire Departments headquarters, including a dispatch room and the chiefs' office, is on Brick Kiln Road.More Just behind it, on Columbia Street, it the substation for the Otter House Company. One of New York's oldest volunteer fire departments -and one of the oldest in the country- the Sag Harbor Fire Department has five companies: Gazelle Hose, Montauk Hose, Otter Hose, Murray Hill Hose and Phoenix Hook & Ladder. The department also has a heavy rescue squad, fire police and a dive/water rescue team. Sag Harbor often drills with North Sea, Southampton, Bridgehampton and East Hampton fire departments. The department also sponsors youth soccer teams and offers scholarships to Sag Harbor students. There is an open house every year during fire prevention week, the first or second week of October. The department has a fire museum open between Fourth of July and Labor Day, on the corner of Church Street and Sage Street.  The current chief is Wayne Mortensen.
Southampton Volunteer Ambulance

Southampton Volunteer Ambulance, not to be confused with Southampton Village Volunteer Ambulance, is a volunteerMore corps in the hamlet of North Sea. The corps's service area covers approximately 48 square miles and borders to the north with Sag Harbor Volunteer Ambulance, the the east with Bridgehampton Fire Department,  to the south with Southampton Village Volunteer Ambulance and to the west with Hampton Bays Volunteer Ambulance.

Southampton Volunteer Ambulance answers nearly 800 calls each year. The corps has three advanced life support ambulances, two advanced life support first responder vehicles and two basic life support first responder vehicles. There are approximately 50 volunteer members.
