The Southampton Yacht Club is a private club on Fort Pond Bay for motorboats and sailboats. It is on Little Neck Road…More off Montauk Highway in Shinnecock Hills, south of the Stony Brook Southampton School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences.</p> <p>The club has junior sailing lessons and the club races lightnings Wednesday nights and Saturdays throughout the summer, followed by a potluck.</p> <p>The commodore is Sandy Griffin.</p>
