Rather…More than report cards, parents receive narrative reports of their children's educational development.</p> <p>Hayground's stated mission is "to provide an open, community school where conventional teaching methods are replaced by new ways of teaching and learning. We are committed to a program of innovation in a community of diversity, both economical and cultural."</p> <p>During the summer, Hayground offers a day camp with half-day and full-day options for ages 3 through 13.</p> <p>The school hosts a lecture and discussion series called The Hayground Forum, covering diverse issues. It also holds an annual Great Chefs Dinner with talented chefs and artists to benefit a scholarship fund.</p>
