Mashashimuet Park is located in the Village of Sag Harbor and overseen by the Parks and Recreation Association of…More Sag Harbor. The park was bequeathed to the children of Sag Harbor and is not managed by the village. It features baseball diamonds, tennis courts, field hockey fields, soccer fields and ample space for picnics. Hamptons Collegiate Baseball's Sag Harbor Whalers play at Mashashimuet and renovated the baseball field. There is no golfing, camping, digging, archery or flying of model aircrafts at the park. Bicycle riding is prohibited on the playing fields.</p> <p>Organizations or groups that wish to use the park must write to the Parks and Recreation Association, P.O. Box 1653, Sag Harbor, NY 11963.</p> <p>The playing field closes for the winter each year through April 1.</p>

Space is availible for sponsors to advertise on the fence.</p> <p>Permission must be obtained from the Bridgehampton Fire Department before using the field. Minors must be under adult supervision and everyone must keep off the dug outs and fences. Adults are not permitted to wear spikes or rubber cleats. The fire department parking lot may not be used for the baseball field. Visitors must park on School Street or Church Lane.</p>

Built on the site of the Downs Family Farm, the Downs Family Recreation Park includes baseball diamonds, a playground…More and soccer fields. The site was farmed from 1684 through 1984. It was given to Southampton Village by the descendants of Lewis E. Downs, the mayor from 1933 till 1937.</p> <p>In 1995, the baseball fields were dedicated as the James Allan Cameron Little League Stadium. The late Allan Cameron was a Southampton Village stalwart, with a hand in the Little League and many other community organizations.</p> <p>The playground is designed for 2- to 12-years-olds.</p> <p>The park may be used with permission from the Southampton Village Parks Department.</p> <p>To get to the park, turn south onto Flying Point Road from Hampton Road or Montauk Highway, and follow the signs. The park entrance will be on the right, before Downs Path.</p>
