Wölffer Estate Vineyard
631-537-5106
Perched like royalty atop a hill overlooking rolling fields of vines in Sagaponack, Wölffer Estate Vineyard is an American winery in a European setting. Established by Hamburg-born international businessman Christian Wölffer in 1987 on what was originally a potato farm, part of the 175-acre estate is a world-class equestrian facility with the largest indoor riding ring on the East coast. Though Mr. Wölffer died in 2008, noted winemaker Roman Roth and his team continue to produce quality wines enjoyed by hundreds who walk through the stately doors of Wölffer Estate's tasting room every year.
