Southampton Village Building Department

Housed in the 71 Hill Street complex, the Southampton Building Department is the place for building and demolition permits and to see what's on the agenda for the zoning board of appeals, planning board and board of historic preservation and architectural review. Residents may submit letters of support or disapproval for projects before the boards, and the letters will be entered into the official record. Also, under the Freedom of Information Act, residents may view building, demolition and variance applications and supporting documents. The village fire marshals are also located at the building department office.
