South Fork Natural History Museum and Nature Center

<p>The South Fork Natural History Museum and Nature Center is a not-for-profit nature organization chartered by the New York State Department of Education in 1989.</p> <p>SoFo is dedicated to promoting nature education, in the museum and in-the-field, through hands on study of the South Fork's native flora, fauna and ecosystems.</p> <p>The museum brings nature indoors and a walk through the museum is like taking an interpretive nature hike. The museum furnishes visitors  with a field guide to its exhibits.</p>
