Ross Lower School is a private elementary school in an agricultural region of Bridgehampton serving students from pre-nursery through fourth grade. It has gardens, playgrounds, trails, a farm and an art studio called the Atelier. The Ross Upper School, for grades five through 12, is in East Hampton. The motto of the school is "Know Thyself in Order to Serve," and students are involved in service projects, both locally and globally. Students help with local beach clean-ups, glean fresh produce at local farms and give the food to local food pantries and donate gently used children's costumes to The Retreat for Halloween. The school also holds both a food drive and coat drive for Human Resources of the Hamptons. Ross has a full-time certified learning specialist and a reading specialist.
