Long Pond Greenbelt Nature Center

<p>Just north of the Scuttle Hole Road intersection on the Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike is a dirt road to the Long Pond Greenbelt Nature Center, at the start of the nature trail. The Long Pond Greenbelt is a chain of ponds in a 623.5-acre area owned by the town of Southampton, <a href="http://www.nature.org/wherewework/northamerica/states/newyork/preserves/art10991.html">The Nature Conservancy</a> and Suffolk County. It's between the turnpike and Sagg Road. Hikers can spot deer, turkeys and other wildlife.</p> <p>ATVs are prohibited. Dogs do not need to be leashed, but they must be under their owner's control at all times.</p>
