<p>Gin Beach is a Southampton Village beach next to the Southampton Bathing Corporation. It is an unprotected beach. A village beach sticker is required to park between the Friday before Memorial Day until the middle of September. Surfcasting, launching power boats and surfing outside of designated areas are prohibited during this period between 9 a.m and 6 p.m. Parking stickers are available at Village Hall and Coopers Beach, free for village residents, at a cost for residents of the Southampton School District and Southampton Fire District and at a greater cost for summer visitors.<br /><br />Camping, alcohol, bonfires, erecting tents, playing hardball, littering, unleashed animals and nudity are prohibited at all times.<br /><br />There is drive-on access, but both a Southampton Village and a Southampton Town Trustees 4x4 beach driving permit are required.</p>
<p>The beach is closed when the Agawam Lake drain pipe is open. No swimming, surfing or fishing is permitted at these times.</p>
