On Saturday morning, the Riverhead Foundation will send off Zazu, a seal pup that the Foundation nursed back to health. At the Dune Road Boat Ramp in Hampton Bays. 11:30 a.m. Cleanup begins at noon.

The Hampton Bays Civic Association is holding its second annual family-friendly event on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event takes place at Cowfish in Hampton Bays and culminate with a duck race. $5 per person or $15 for a family. Proceeds help the civic association fund events and scholarships.
On Sunday, head over to the Boardy Barn on Montauk Highway as the Hampton Bays Chamber presents the 15th Annual Chili -Chowder Contest from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Local restaurants and residents are invited to submit their "Favorite Recipe" for judges and the public to taste and vote on. $10 for adults; $3 for children.
Southampton
Flying Point 5K for Autism Awareness
This Sunday head over to Flying Point Beach to join or cheer on runners at the 5K for Autism Awareness at 9 a.m. Proceeds from the event goes to the Flying Point Foundation for Autism, which works to create opportunities for children with autism and educate the public about it. Bridgehampton
A free music fair will be held at the Children's Museum of the East End in Brigehampton from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday. Presented in collaboration with Crossroads Music and Bulldog Studios, this free community event introduces young families to the East End’s rich musical life and culture.
Sag Harbor
A bike tour on Sunday, it begins at Southampton Hospital and travels through Sag Harbor, East Hampton, Wainscott, Amagansett and Montauk, before returning to Southampton. Bike one of four routes. The 100 mile route starts at 7:30 a.m., 70 mile route 8 a.m., 50 mile route at 8 a.m., and 25 mile route 9 a.m. There is also a 25 mile escorted ride. Price: $35 in advance, $45 on the day of the tour.
Hamptons Take 2 Documentary Film Festival Presents 'The Lovi…
On Sunday, head over to the Bay Street Theater at 4 p.m. for “The Loving Story,” a documentary about Richard Loving and Mildred Jeter, a mixed racial couple (Loving is white, Jeter is African American and Cherokee Native American), who married in Washington D.C. in 1958 and returned to their home state of Virginia, only to be arrested and to have their marriage declared illegal.
Joe Lauro returns on Friday night with an all new show and totally new version called “LEGENDS OF ROCK VOLUME 5” featuring rare footage of The Beatles, Rolling Stones; Crosby, Stills Nash & Young, the Doors, Santana, Sly & The Family Stone and Cream. Held at the Bay Street Theatre, at 8 p.m. Price: $15.
Montauk
Montauk Seafood Festival: The Montauk Seafood Festival takes place on Saturday at noon at the Montauk Marine Basin on West Lake Drive. Restaurants and caterers will serve up signature dishes, such as lobster rolls, raw seafood bars, seafood crepes and wontons, Ahi tuna sliders, sushi, ceviche, crab cakes, fish tacos, and much more.
East Hampton
Rowdy Hall's 5th Annual Oktoberfest Kick Off Party
Rowdy Hall in East Hampton will kick off Oktoberfest on Saturday, September 21 with a traditional Oktoberfest festival from 3 to 5 p.m. Rowdy Hall will be converted into a traditional German beer garden for the Oktoberfest Festival with picnic tables in the courtyard and communal dining tables in the dining room. 10 Main Street in the Parrish Mews.
Guild Hall will host an open studio with Dan Welden, and you can participate in the creation of an etching using the solarplate technique on Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon and 2 to 5 p.m. This three-hour intensive will be fun, educational and very productive. Printmaking experience is not essential. Register in advance. Price: $35/$25 members per session.
LongHouse Reserve will honor horticultural leaders Fergus Garrett and Warren Price at its biennial Landscape Awards. First at Hoie Hall at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in East Hampton Village, a morning lecture will be held at 10:30 a.m. The talk, “Great Dixter: Past, Present and Future with Fergus Garrett,” will be presented by the honoree as he provides an insider’s perspective on what it was like to work closely with British horticultural celebrity the late Christopher Lloyd. The luncheon at LongHouse begins at noon.
The John Drew Theatre at Guild Hall and the Watermill Center present CollaborationTown "The Momentum," a self-help-sploitation that asks: Unhappy? Listless? Broke? Alone? Depressed? Shoeless? Let its Laws of Attraction massage your vibrations and pull you into the Gaping Hole of Momentum. Price: $20, $18 members, $10 students.
Wainscott
On Sunday at noon, the East Hampton Sportsmen's Alliance will host its third annual Fun Shoot at the Maidstone Gun Club in Wainscott. $10 per round of 25.
The Cornell Cooperative Extension will hold a fall gardening symposium at the Buckskill Tennis Club in Wainscott at 9 a.m. Dr. Allan Armitage will speak and workshops will be held. Price: $85
Springs
Esperanza León is pleased to present a selection of work from the last decade by sculptor Dennis Leri at Ashawagh Hall in Springs. An "Advance View" with Leon will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The opening reception will be held Saturday at 4 p.m., and Sunday there will be an Artist on Artist Q&A, with Leri and Eric Ernst at 2 p.m. All events are free to the public.

Celebration Of The Three Sisters
Join Sylvester Manor and their Shinnecock neighbors on Saturday at 1 p.m. as they celebrate the late summer harvest of the Three Sisters (corn, beans and squash). Members of the Shinnecock community will be honoring the harvest through a demonstration of traditional cooking methods, song and dance. 80 North Ferry Road, Shelter Island.
Riverhead
Head over to the Riverhead Polish Hall on Saturday and Sunday for this back-to-school shopping event. Everything you need for infants, kids and tweens. Sale starts at 9 a.m.
