Sagaponack Village Will Decide on Police Department; Bike Tour

MONDAY

Great Books with Jill: The book group will meet at Hampton Library in Bridgehampton at 10 a.m.

Auditions: Bay Street Theatre in Sag Harbor will hold auditions for "The Diary of Anne Frank"  at 10 a.m. The show is scheduled for Nov. 8 to 26.

Trustees Meeting: The Southampton Town Trustees meet at Town Hall at 1 p.m.

Sagaponack Village Meeting: The Sagaponack Village Board of Trustees will hold its regular monthly meeting at 4 p.m. Members are expected to make a decision regarding the formation of a police department. 

Estate Planning and Elder LawGeorge Roach, Esq., estate planning attorney, will discuss estate planning and elder law at the Rogers Memorial Library at 5:30 p.m.  Learn how to plan for legal, financial and medical care matters that everyone faces as they age.

TUESDAY

ARB Meeting: The Southampton Town Architectural Review Board meets at Town Hall at 10 a.m.

Meeting: The Landmarks and Historic Districts Board meets at Town Hall at 7 p.m.

ZBA Work Session: The Southampton Village Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a work session at Village Hall at 7 p.m.

WEDNESDAY

Caregiver Support Group: A caregiver support group meets at Southampton Hospital at noon.

Bereavement Support Group: A bereavement support group meets at Southampon Hospital at 5:30 p.m.

THURSDAY


AARP Defensive Driving Courses: A two-day AARP Defensive Driving course will take place on Thursday and Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Price
$17 for AARP members, $19 for non-members.

ZBA Meeting:
The Southampton Town Zoning Board of Appeals will meet at Town Hall at 7 p.m.

FRIDAY

ARB Meeting: The Sagaponack Village Architectural and Historic Review Board will meet at 3:30 p.m. 

LEGENDS OF Rock Film Series: Joe Lauro returns with an all new show and totally new version called LEGENDS OF ROCK VOLUME 5 featuring rare footage of THE BEATLES, ROLLING STONES; CROSBY, STILLS NASH & YOUNG; THE DOORS, SANTANA; SLY & THE FAMILY STONE; and CREAM. It is held at Bay Street Theatre, starting at 8 p.m. Price: $15.

SATURDAY

Music Fair: A free music fair will be held at the Children's Museum of the East End in Brigehampton from 10 a.m. to noon. Presented in collaboration with Crossroads Music and Bulldog Studios, this free community event introduces young families to the East End’s rich musical life and culture.

SUNDAY

Tour of the HamptonsA bike tour, it begins at Southampton Hospital and travels through Sag Harbor, East Hampton, Wainscott, Amagansett and Montauk, before returning to Southampton. Bike one of four routes. The 100 mile route starts at 7:30 a.m., 70 mile route 8 a.m., 50 mile route at 8 a.m., and 25 mile route 9 a.m. There is also a 25 mile escorted ride. Price: $35 in advance, $45 on the day of the tour.
