Coming Up: Southampton Artists Host Thanksgiving Show Reception

MONDAY

Trustees Meeting: The Southampton Town Trustees will meet at Town Hall at 1 p.m.

TUESDAY

ARB: The Southampton Town Architectural Review Board will meet at Town Hall at 10 a.m.

ZBA Work Session: The Southampton Village Zoning Board of Appeals will meet at 7 p.m.

Landmarks and Historic Districts Board Meeting: Meets at Town Hall at 7 p.m.

WEDNESDAY

Thrift Show Fashoin Show: Jackie Scerbinski presents her Thrift Shop Fashion Show at Rogers Memorial Library at noon. All clothes will b modeled by local residents. Refreshments will be served. Reservations are needed.

Town Board Meeting: The Southampton Town Board will meet to adopt the 2014 budget at 1 p.m.

Southampton Artists Thanksgiving Art Show: The Southampton Artists Thanksgiving Show opens Wednesday at Levitas Center for The Arts and runs through Dec. 1. A reception will be held on Nov. 24 from 4 to 6 p.m. Hours are daily from noon to 4 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from noon to 6 p.m.

THURSDAY

Town Board Work Session: The Southampton Town Board will meet at Town Hall at 10 a.m.

AARP Defensive Driving Course: Hampton Library in Bridgehampton will hold a two-day defensive driving course on Thursday and Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Price:  $17 for AARP members, $19 for non-members

Movie Screening: "The Hunger Games" will be shown on the big screen at Hampton Library in Bridgehampton at 4:30 p.m. 

Pinecone Holiday Wreath: A wreath-making workshop at Rogers Memorial Library starts at 6:30 p.m. Bring scissors, wire cutter, hot glue gun and glue sticks, floral picks and anything else you wish to use to adorn your wreath. The library will supply the wreath and pine cones. Wine and Cheese will be served. Price: $30 members, $40 non-members

FRIDAY

Movies, Movies, Movies: Start your weekend with a movie at Hampton Library at 4 p.m. Enjoy some snacks and a good movie. Bring a blanket and a pillow or just use one of our chairs.

Art Show: An art show by two artists who attended the School of Visual Art in NYC 2013 Summer Residency Program are coming to Southampton.  Maria Fragoudaki and Matt Moffett come together to present an art show at the 4 N. Main Gallery. An opening will be held on Friday from 4 to 9 p.m. The show will run daily until Nov. 30.
