In Photos: Bridgehampton, Sagaponack Blanketed in Snow

Some were sleigh riding, some were snow blowing after Winter Storm Hercules hit Southampton Town.

Patch ventured out into the snow mid-day on Friday.

We were pleasantly surprised by how well cleared the state had Montauk Highway in the Water Mill-Bridgehampton-Sagaponack area. Other roads were less impressive, such as the Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike and Ocean Road. Snow drifting across major fields was still cause for concern, though.

Banks, King Kullen, Citarella's, and the Sagg General Store were open, while workers still plowed and shoveled driveways and sidewalks. Residents all over town were working hard at shoveling their cars out. Meanwhile, a small group of children already took to the hills at the Bridgehampton Golf Club for the trill of sleigh riding.

Here are some photos from around the area. To send yours, email Taylor.Vecsey@patch.com.
