PHOTOS: Designers Auction Avant Garde Bras for Cancer Fight

Bras by celebrity designers Leanne Marshall and Michael Costello of "Project Runway," Carson Kressley of "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy," and local artists  touched by cancer were auctioned at the third annual Reconstructed Bra Fashion Show fundraiser Thursday evening at the .

Local designers include Pat Kochie, Breahna Arnold, Shana Smith, Casey Dalene, Anne Drager, Steve Zaluski, , Tara Fleming, Karyn Mannix, Rebecca Burriesci, Tom Kochie, Alyssa Smith, , Justin Terzi, Paula Brannon and Piny Z. The models are Lisa Alamia, Rebecca Burriesci, Christine Laureano, Tammie Lenz, MaryAnne Merzak, Pam Miller, Ulrika Parash, Gisele Pereira, Julie Stone and Luisa Valencia. The escorts are Dr. Vito Alamia, Dr. Jim Brady, Dr. Jack Morgani, and Shawn Sharkey. Lucas Hunt is auctioneer.

The event co-chairs are Vicki Durand, Tara Mansir, Stacy Quarty and Susie Barry Roden.

Organized by team "Heaven Can Wait" for the LI2DAY Walk, proceeds benefit , the Coalition for Women’s Cancers at and the Ellen Hermanson Breast Center. The 2012 event is dedicated to the late Teresa Montant, a dedicated volunteer and founding member of the Coalition for Women's Cancers at Southampton Hospital.
