School News - Week of Oct. 28 - Nov. 1

During last week’s Bully Free Spirit Week, Tuckahoe’s Student Council asked the whole school to sign a beautiful Bully Awareness & Prevention Banner that our art teacher, Miss Barbara Imperiale, made for us.  The banner was placed in the cafeteria during each of the lunch periods so it could be signed by everyone!  On Friday, Oct. 25th, the banner was hung outside on the school ground’s fence facing Magee Street to represent Tuckahoe students’ support of a bully-free school!  Bright orange ribbons were also tied onto the fence surrounding the banner by each class to also show their spirit and support of a bully-free school!   School Picture Retake Day is Tuesday, October 29th.    The PTO Pottery Night this year is Friday, November 8th, 2013.   Parent/Teacher conferences will be held on Thursday, November 21st and Friday, November 22nd; students will have early dismissal these two days at 11:23 a.m.  Our PTO Thanksgiving Feast this year is going to be held on Tuesday, November 26th, 2013.
