School News - Week of Dec. 16-20

Tuckahoe 2nd graders are getting the message from Tuckahoe 5th graders! Ms. Verdeschi’s 5th grade students are building character by selecting picture books with meaningful messages and reading them to 2nd graders. The 5th graders are also documenting this activity by articulating their books’ messages in writing and creating a class video.   On Friday, December 20th, Mad Science will be coming to the school and entertaining grades Pre-K through 6 with an exciting "Fire & Ice" show.  This is a special treat from the PTO to all the students for the holidays!  Student Council will also be holding their annual Mitten Drive from Dec. 1st to Dec. 22nd.  We are looking for new hats, gloves, scarves, and gently used coats.
