Notable singer Shanai Brown from Middle Island, N.Y. is playing the leading role of Dorothy in the production of "The Wiz."
Shanai is best known for her appearances on television and when she competed and won the "Showtime at the Apollo." She has also performed with numerous well-known choirs including the renowned Long Island Voices.
