From Scripts, Music Sheets to Dancing Shoes!

Singer/ Actor Tramar Pettaway will be co-starring in the show "Mixed Nuts" also know as "The Nutcracker"  presented by Studio 3 on this coming weekend, Dec. 7, 8 and 9 in the role of Drosselmeyer Claire & Blaire's uncle (the magician). Tramar and the cast of "Mixed Nuts" have practiced every single Saturday since the month of September. 

Tramar is best known for singing and acting, he recently co-starred in "The Wiz" playing the role of the Scarecrow. A few years ago you may have seen him in shows including a cameo role in "Little Shop Of Horrors". During his high school years he appeared in "Oliver", "Crazy For You", "Grease" & "Cinderella. He began his acting career in 1996 when he played the Munchkin in  "The Wizard Of Oz". He than continued his acting path when he played a small role in "You're A Good Man Charlie Brown" both of these shows were in his elementary school days. 

In 1999 Tramar started his singing career path when he was casted as the Gingerbread Child in Opera of The Hamptons production of Hansel & Gretel, from that day on he continously stayed with music. He won the rating of Excellent from NYSSMA Solo Vocal Comepetition in 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004. He was selected and participated  All-County Chorus in 2003, 2004 and 2005. He was also selected and participated in HMEA in 2003.

In 2012 Tramar founded the Hamptons Foundation For The Arts. The Wiz was the foundation's first production. He is very excited about being a part of the cast of "Mixed Nuts" - "The Nutcracker." Tramar would like to thank Diane and Meredith Shumway and Studio 3 for this opportunity a great mother, daughter team.

In 2013, Tramar will be opening his very own show "Just Hear My Song" on Feb. 23 at Southampton High School at 5 p.m. More info will be forthcoming.

So come on down to Bay Street Theatre this coming weekend and see "Mixed Nuts" $20 for adults, $15 for children. The shows are as follows: Dec. 7 and 8,  7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 9, 2 p.m. A talented cast to bring a sparkle to your holiday season!
