Favorite Songs from 'The Wiz' Fast Approaching
Come to the "Favorite Songs From 'The Wiz'" concert.
As some of you know the cast of "The Wiz" is putting on a "" concert which is hosted by the Rogers Memorial Library on Feb 26 at 3 p.m.
FREE OF CHARGE. EVERYONE IS WELCOME.
Last week the select cast members had a chance to rehearse. It was wonderful. The sounds of the songs made it feel like you were more than in a rehearsal — it made it seem like you were actually standing on the set of the show.

The leading role of Dorothy is being played by Ms. Nyeshia Padmore who is from New York. When you hear this young lady sing it's like, "where in the world did she come from?" On this past Wednesday I had the utmost honor pleasure of hearing her rehearse her songs "Soon As I Get Home" and "Home" from the show for next month's concert. I had to stop her in the middle of one song and say to hear "YOU SOUND AMAZING, WAIT UNTIL ALL OF THE KIDS AND GROWNUPS HEAR YOU SING THOSE SONGS!"
As we begin rehearsing our song, the world famous "EASE ON DOWN THE ROAD," we began to feel like we were actually on the big stage on the big night. Let me just say this: "Bring everyone you know to come see 'Favorite Songs From The Wiz,' it's more than a concert it's an experience." The cast members will be in full costume so there is an opportunity to take pictures with the members of the cast. Only a selected number of cast members will be at the concert because the rest we want to leave a surprise for AUGUST. Call 631-283-0774 ext. 585 to make your reservation but best of all it's FREE.
