It seems old Yankee's never die, they just wash up ashore at Gurney's Inn- Montauk. Derek Jeter who 17 years ago inspired my then 9 and 7 year old daughters (1996) to persuade me to buy "good seats" so they could go the game wearing Jeter Yankee Tee Shirts, was spotted having Breakfast at Gurney's after being put on the 15 day disabled list by the Yankees. No sign of A-Rod who was last seen in the Hamptons a few years back with Cameron Diaz nesting at Madonna's digs...Maybe Derek is there to look at Bernie Madoff's place or to take part in this weekends Shark Tag event in Montauk. As Phil Rizutto use to say, "Holy cow, it's Derek Jeter!"
