'Screech' to Host 'Saved by the '90s' Party at Canal Room Southampton

"Saved by the Bell" star Dustin Diamond will emcee performance by '90s cover band The Bayside Tigers.

Relive the '90s this Saturday night with Dustin Diamond, best known at Screech from "Saved by the Bell."

Diamond plays host as New York City's Canal Room takes over in Southampton Village with the party. Cover band The Bayside Tigers, who take their name from the mascot of the fictional "Saved by the Bell" high school, will perform '90s favorites.

Among the band's repertoire is Blink 182's "All the Small Things," Bush's "Glycerine," Third Eye Blind's "Semi-Charmed Life," The Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Under the Bridge" and The Backstreet Boys' "I Want It That Way."

The Bayside Tigers are among several cover artists managed by Canal Room co-owner Marcus Linial who are slated to perform at this summer; Rubix Kube is playing a "Back to the '80s" show at Friday night.

At Saturday's '90s party, TRESemmé will be there shooting for its web series, "TRESemmé Style Setters."

Doors open at 9:30 p.m. Saturday and the band goes on at 11 p.m. Guests must be 21 or older to get in.

Admission is $30. Get tickets at the Canal Room Southampton box office from 4 to 8 p.m., seven days a week, at 230 Elm Street, Southampton, or order online.

The Bayside Tigers are also booked at Canal Room Southampton on June 30 and Aug. 11.
