Last Chance: CMEE Family Fair Is Saturday

Advance tickets available for "CMEE in the Great Outdoors" at the Children's Museum of the East End.

The will put on its fourth annual Family Fair on Saturday, and this year's theme is "CMEE in the Great Outdoors," with an array of nature-themed arts and crafts, water slides, entertainment, games, music and food.

Honorary chairs Naomi Watts, Liev Schreiber, Mariska Hargitay, Peter Hermann, Alexandra Wentworth, George Stephanopoulos and  will join the fun.

"We at CMEE are delighted to host the Family Fair again this year," said Amy Tarr, the president of CMEE’s Board of Trustees. "It's a thrilling, jam-packed adventure for kids of all ages. And, as our biggest fundraiser of the year, it's a fantastic way to encourage new and old friends to support the museum.”

Entertainment includes 8-year-old DJ Fulano, a rock climbing wall, a scavenger hunt, waterslides, lagoon boat races, an archeological dig, birdhouse painting, tent pitching lessons, and a "touch tank" courtesy of the The Long Island Science Center.

A silent auction will feature packages for food, entertainment, travel and retail, according to CMEE.

The fair takes place Saturday from 10:30 a.m. through 1:30 p.m. at in Bridgehampton.

Tickets for children are $100 in advance, and $125 at the door. For adults, the price is $150 in advance, and $175 at the door. For more information, visit cmee.org.
