The Southampton varsity football team will look to get back on track on September 21 when it travels to take on Wyandanch at 2 p.m.
The Mariners are coming off a loss in the season opener against Port Jefferson on September 7. Last year Southampton posted a 3-5 record and missed the playoffs, but sometimes an extra win or two can be the difference that gets them into playoff contention in 2013.
