Water Mill Man Jousts on New TV Show
James H. Fairclough II of Cavalier Show Jumping at Seahorse Stables to appear on "Full Metal Jousting."
Showjumper James H. Fairclough II — who recently founded Cavalier Show Jumping, based out of Seahorse Stables in Water Mill — will join a cast of 16 jousters in "Full Metal Jousting," a 10-part television series, horsetalk.co.nz reports.
Twenty-five year old Fairclough, originally of Newtown, N.J., but now a full-time Water Mill resident, trains students and horses for competition. On "Full Metal Jousting," Fairclough competes in the medieval sport for a $100,000 cash prize.
"I wanted to show everyone that show jumpers are just as tough as any other division," Fairclough told horsetalk.co.nz.
