PHOTOS: Sailboat Championship Raced in Sag Harbor

Breakwater Yacht Club hosts the JY-15 North American Championships.

and JY-15 Fleet 2, consisting of Breakwater Yacht Club members who race JY-15 sailboats on Sundays from May to October, hosted the JY-15 North American Championships this weekend at .

The JY-15 is a two-person one-design centerboard dinghy designed by Rodney Johnstone in 1989, according to the JY15 Class Association. Breakwater Yacht Club owns a fleet of JY-15's that it makes available to its junior sailing program and to local high school sailing teams.
