Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team Benefit Game

The Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team is coming to Long Island for the first time ever to play a benefit game against local celebrities and all-stars on Saturday in Sag Harbor. 

The team consists of nearly 20 amputee veterans from the post-9/11 era, all of whom wear some form of prosthesis. 

Pre-game action will begin at 1:20 p.m. at Mashashimuet Park with players introduction followed by the presentation of colors.

The 9/11 National Flag of Honor will be in Sag Harbor with the team and will be on centerfield during the opening ceremony. 

The game will begin at 2 p.m. with a meet and greet and photo opportunity on the field with the players following the game.

Admission to the game is free. 

All donations and sponsorships for this event will be divided between the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team, the Wounded Warrior Project, and the Hamptons Baseball League.
