Southampton Student Receives National Hispanic Recognition Program Recognition

Southampton High School Senior Oscar Mahoney was recognized at the October 1st regular Board of Education meeting by Dr. Brian Zahn and Dr. Kim Rodriguez.  Oscar has been identified by the National Hispanic Recognition Program (NHRP) as an academically outstanding Hispanic/Latino high school student.  Each year, the NHRP honors about 5,000 of the highest-scoring students from over 250,000 Hispanic/Latino juniors who take the PSAT/NMSQT.
