On the afternoon of December 5th, the Southampton Elementary School cafeteria was alive with the sounds of the Pre-K students singing away to celebrate the annual Pre-K Bake & Boogie. The students spent time baking during classes leading up to the afternoon celebration and sold their baked goods to raise money for the Southampton Animal Shelter. Presenting $295, the students were applauded for their efforts to make sure the shelter animals have more funds to buy toys, food, and other necessities.
