Southampton Intermediate School Makes Strides Against Breast Cancer

On Oct. 14, Team S.I.S. participated in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk at Dowling College.

On Oct. 14, the National Junior Honor Society, Southampton Intermediate School students and staff joined as TEAM S.I.S and participated in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk at Dowling College.  

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and every Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk is a powerful and inspiring opportunity to unite as a community to honor breast cancer survivors, increase awareness and raise money to help the American Cancer Society for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure.  

Team S.I.S proudly supports Mrs. Zukosky through this journey and collected more than $1,825 to help support the American Cancer Society.
