Southampton Elementary School Student Council Gives Back

The 3rd & 4th Grade Morning Program was full of recognition for the SES Gold Star Leaders on Friday.

The 3rd & 4th Grade Morning Program was full of recognition for the SES Gold Star Leaders on Friday, November 9th.

Ganesh Sital, Citlali Chino, and Charlie Nichols were all recognized by Student Council advisors Debra Peters and Cathy Musick. These students took a page from the cloth napkin drive when they saw a need in Ms. Pavao's Double Dose Foundations reading classes for the bags and spent time at home sewing book bags from cloth donated by Hildreth's Department Store.

Go-Gi-Sgk Dimalanta and her mother, Staysea Hutchings, were special invited guests of the Gold Star Leaders at the Morning Program. Go-Gi-Sgk, who served as a Locks of Love Committee member as a fourth grader last year, lost her house in a fire this past summer. "This year's Gold Star leaders wanted to help Go-Gi-Sgk and her mother in their time of need," they stated.
