Full-Day Pre-K to Be Offered by Southampton School District: Registration Extended

Due to projected lower student enrollments for the 2012-2013 school year, Southampton Public School's Pre-K registration has been extended and a full-day program is now being offered.

Due to projected lower student enrollments for the 2012-2013 school year, Southampton Public School’s Pre-K registration has been extended and a full-day program is now being offered. If your child is four years of age or turning four on or prior to December 1, 2012, be sure to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity. Full-day rosters will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis since a limited number of full-day slots are vacant. Please be advised that once full-day rosters are filled, half-day sections (either morning or afternoon) will be available.

Housed within Southampton Elementary School, the Pre-K program runs five days a week in accordance with the school calendar. Our nurturing and enriching program will provide your child with a beneficial “head-start” academically, socially and emotionally, while ensuring a smooth transition into Kindergarten.

You may register your child, Tuesday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at District Office located at 70 Leland Lane no later than Friday, August 24, 2012. Parents/guardians must bring two original proofs of residency. These include a lease or tax bill and one utility bill (cellular phone bills are not acceptable). Parents/guardians must also supply photo identification of themselves (such as a driver’s license/passport), the child’s original birth certificate and/or passport and immunization records. These original documents will be photocopied during the registration process and returned to you. Please contact the Pre-K Office at 591-4881 if you have additional questions.
