Tuesday, June 4th:

  • Rogers Memorial Library, Tiny Tots Crafts, Enjoy quality time with your toddler while creating a special craft! Each week explores different art mediums: play dough, paint, crayons, and paste. Things may get messy, so please dress accordingly, Ages 18-35 Months, 10:00 a.m. & 11:00 a.m.
  • Rogers Memorial Library, Kids Cook - Food for Thought, Share stories about some of your favorite foods and practice with hands-on cooking/baking, Mexican Pudding, Grades 3-5, 4:00 p.m.
  • Hampton Library, Fun in the sun as we play in the backyard. This is a special time for parents and caregivers to play with their young children in a fun, creative environment. Toys, puzzles, dramatic play, art exploration and visits from experts in the community make this a fantastic opportunity for families of young children to learn, play and explore together and for parents and caregivers to learn from each other, Ages Birth-4 Years Old, 10:00 a.m.

  • CMEE, Baby Bliss New Mom Group, Informational, social, and very interactive!  Beat the isolation of being a new mommy and join a lively group of new mothers & babies.  Discuss the truth about colic, sleep schedules, feeding issues, balancing time for yourself, returning to work, childcare, and finding  activities. 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. ()
  • Amagansett Library, Story Time, Ages Birth-4 Years  Old, 10:15 a.m.
  • Munchkin's Mat, cooperative games, theme activities, storytelling, music, and art engage the natural energy and enthusiasm of 5, 6 and 7-year old children. Classes explore mat based poses, breathing exercises, visual imagery and relaxation techniques while conveying lessons in, body awareness, positive thinking, and caring for the environment, Ages 5-7 Years Old, (51 Division Street, Sag Harbor.   • Parent/Child Class, The Program provides an introduction to Waldorf education and a gentle and nurturing environment for parents and their young children. Of 18 months.   • Hampton Library, Babies & Books, Enjoy baby’s first story time, with simple books, songs, rhymes and finger plays, Ages Birth-15 Months, 11:00 a.m. (Bridgehampton)
  • CMEE, Butter Lane Art Academy, This continuing, multi age level class explores art history and cross curricular themes using a variety of materials.  The classes will include the many aspects of drawing, painting, and sculpture in a small group atmosphere, Ages 4-11 years old - 3:30 p.m. (Bridgehampton)

The website is loaded with a lot of helpful listings for parents as well, I have listings of babysitters, au pairs, mother's helpers, tutors, private swim instructors, family photographers, farmers' markets, yoga classes, la maze classes and more. The more the community gets involved and in contact with me, the better and more helpful the website becomes and is becoming.

Hamptons Mamas has a new team member! Welcome Theresa Novak of "A Child's Comfort Care!" A Child's Comfort Care provides an all "green" happy and healthy atmosphere, where children can create, socialize, learn & relax in a secure and loving environment.  At A Child's Comfort caters to each individual child, embracing his/her needs & supporting a comfort level helping obtain emotional and physical well-being.Our focus is on fun, creativity & a basic very light educational learning. Mini aerobics, baby style yoga, open outdoor space for free movement and mindfulness; makes up for some of the physical activities for toddlers.  Check out their website: www.AChildsComfortCare.com.
